November 11th ,2021 REMEMBRANCE DAY
The Remembrance Day is celebrated every year on 11th of November at 11 PM. This day is celebrated in memory of all the army forces who died in the First World War. On this day, many people wear Poppies on their clothes and is also called as Poppy day.
All Canadians are encouraged to observe a moment of silence to mark the sacrifice of the many who have fallen in the service of their country, and to acknowledge the courage of those who still serve.
Let us pray for peace, and consider our contribution as individuals, community and nation to bring God’s peace to the world.

Why do we celebrate Christ the King?
Feast of Christ the King, also called Solemnity of Our Lord Jesus Christ, King of the Universe, festival celebrated in the Roman Catholic Church in honor of Jesus Christ as lord over all creation. Essentially a magnification of the Feast of the Ascension, it was established by Pope Pius XI in 1925. Christ the King is a title of Jesus in Christianity referring to the idea of the Kingdom of God where the Christ is described as seated at the right hand of God.
November 2, 2021 All Souls’ Day
In places where All Saints’ Day is observed as a public holiday but All Souls’ Day is not, cemetery and grave rituals such as offerings of flowers, candles and prayers or blessings for the graves of loved ones often take place on All Saints Day.
The Christian celebration of All Saints’ Day and All Souls’ Day stems from a belief that there is a powerful spiritual bond between those in heaven (the “Church triumphant”), and the living (the “Church militant”). In Catholic theology, the day commemorates all those who have attained the beatific vision in Heaven.

In the Catholic Church, “the faithful” refers specifically to baptized Catholics; “all souls” commemorates the church penitent of souls in purgatory, whereas “all saints” commemorates the church triumphant of saints in Heaven. … On this day in particular, Catholics pray for the dead.
Thanksgiving Food Drive
Thanksgiving Day on Monday, Oct 11, 2021. We celebrate in gratitude for all the blessings we received especially getting thru this Covid-19 and praying for the loss of loved ones, our prayers be with you in these difficult times. Thanksgiving gives people a chance to reflect on why they are thankful. A Catholic Thanksgiving Holiday should be filled with thanks and love. Spend a few minutes talking with your family, friends and neighbours and ask them why they are so thankful this year. Sharing is an opportunity to learn about each other and worship God. And most importantly we need to give thanks to God for giving His only Son to us. He died for our sins and we should thank Him for this every day. Here at Precious Blood, you responded to the call of bringing coffee mostly needed by The Good Shepherd shelter. Again, we plead and ask you on this coming Thanksgiving to bring and help share to our brothers and sisters. God bless us all.

Join us as we pray to Our Lady of the Rosary. In the famous portrait of Our Lady of Pompeii, Queen of the Most Holy Rosary, our Lady is carrying Infant Jesus while handing a Rosary to St. Catherine of Siena. On the other hand, Infant Jesus is handing a Rosary to St. Dominic. Histories of the Holy Rosary often attribute its origin to St. Dominic. It is said that in 1208, Our Lady of the Rosary appeared to St. Dominic in the Church of Prouille, France, and entrusted the Holy Rosary to him
